Bria looked around. Nobody was in sight so she went on around the outside of the temple, keeping as close to the wall as possible. Gathering the force, she jumped up and onto one of the skywalks on the top of the temple. She turned around and placed her hands on the railing. She looked at the scenery.

Mayla walked outside of the Jedi Temple. She needed some fresh air. She looked around Yavin IV, and took in a deep breath. The Twi'lek thought it was extremely beautiful here, much prettier than Ryloth. She looked around, and saw another Jedi Master. She walked by the skywalks, and used the force. The Jedi Master jumped up, and a little higher than necessary. She landed behind Bria.

"Why, hello there." Mayla said as she landed behind Bria, sitting on the railing. Her legs hung on the outside, and she was dangerously close from slipping off.

"Hello," Bria said, not at all startled by Mayla's appearance. She had sensed her before she had arrived. She still hadnt taken her eyes off the scenery. "I was thinking," she said. "What it would be like if i hadnt went to the academy and just stayed with my mom and dad." Bria admitted. She had missed her parents very much when she went to the academy.

Mayla had wondered that question when she first left her mother. Her master had sensed it, and she remembered the words. The Jedi Master was unsure whether to say them or not, so she didn't. Instead, she answered with another question. "What is it like to have a father?" She had never gotten to met her own father, as he had died fighting. All she knew was that he was a force user, that had broken the Jedi way. She hid her thoughts from Bria. I wonder if she misses them enough too...No, she wouldn't do that. She thought, but did not complete the thoughts. The other Jedi Master would not do that, as she was loyal.

"Well," she started, and then stopped. What did it feel like to have a father? "Well, its just like having a master i guess." she said. "He watches over you. He, praises you when you get something right, and scolds you when you do something wrong. He helps you learn something new, and teaches you everything he knew even before you were born." she looked at Mayla, "You never had a father?" she asked.

Mayla had always loathed being asked that question. It angered her slightly, but she could still control it, as she would not become a sith. "No. He was murdered by a Sith Lord, as he wouldn't give her the information she wanted. I lived on Ryloth only with my mother, as a slave." She explained, looking away. Her hands gripped the railing slightly tighter than necessary out of anger. Though, she hid her feelings from Bria. She did not wnat her too know it.

Bria nodded. "Sorry," she said. "i guess i was just so lucky i never realized it." She turned back to look at the scenery. "Well, we should probably get in. " bria commented as she turned around. "There's dualing this afternoon. dont want to miss that!" She tried to lighten the mood a little.

Mayla smiled, forgetting about the unpleasant subject. "Oh yes, everyone can't wait." If she wasn't so modest, she probably would have ended with 'to be beaten by me.' Since she was, that was all she said. She stood up on the railing, jumped off doing a back flip, then landed on the group, both of her light sabers already ignited. "I think I'll arrive a little earlier than necessary." She said, twirling her bright green sabers in her hand.

"Oh i see show off!" she mock-joked, and jumped down also in a flip, but landing in a kartwheel. "impresive hum?" she joked, and ignited her sabers also.

Mayla spit out her tongue playfully, something she had not done in a while. She put both her sabers in her right hand, keeping them both twirling. It was hard, but her hands were luckily big. She carefully got in a one handed hand stand, then started jump spinning. It was easier to do in a pull, that was for sure. "Impressive, huh?" She said, speaking in an imitation of Bria's voice.

Bria Laughed and Lunged her right saber at Mayla. The point of duals was forcing one to go as far to their limits as possible, and then the other to do the same. It was never to kill, just to practice.

Mayla sensed her friend bringing a saber towards herself. She jumped back up, and put her sabers up ready for the attack. Her left arm was out straight, her right above her head bended. She walked slowly towards her, and blocked the right saber.

Bria did a backflip and ran back towards Mayla. This time, when she got close enough, she did a dual saber kata ((oooh i bet you dont know what that is or looks like!! LOL)).

Mayla saw that she was behind the wall. As she started the kata attack, she jumped and kicked off the wall, doing a elegant back flip. She landed on her feet behind Bria. She turned her green sabers quickly in her hand, blocking off attacks from infront of her. She listened to the whipping of her saber.

Bria jumped to block her attacks and then used the force to push Mayla backwards onto the ground. She then ran towards her, and did a kartwheel over the top of Mayla. "Didnt think i would win that easily!" she taunted, and struck her sabers together.
